What? A Saturday in Cleveland with no rain? Believe it! HRRC spent quality time with seven residents and six volunteers from the St Clair Superior Development Corporation (SCSDC) on June 6th. Professional painter Matt Jenkins took participants through the whole house painting process, from suiting up to scraping, caulking, painting, and cleanup, as we worked on a participant’s house. Everyone learned how to paint safely, correctly, and stylishly (check out those cool masks!) in this workshop for recipients of SCSDC’s Painting Grant. Who says WRRK can’t be FUN?
