Free Grab Bars
HRRC currently has a (limited) supply of grab bars to give away. They’re 12″ long by 1.25″ in diameter, or 18″ long by 1.25″ in diameter. So if you, or someone you know, could use one for the bathroom or somewhere else in the home, please contact David Brock at (216) 381-6100 ext. 22 or dbrock@hrrc-ch.org. (Unfortunately we don’t install them).

Our staff not only focuses on home repairs, but also on giving advice to homeowners on how to recognize changing physical needs AND plans for aging-in-place. Thoughtful planning on adapting the physical environment can often allow seniors to live at home longer- safely and independently.
